Now whenever I hear Third Eye Blind’s “semi-charmed life”, and everybody starts to go crazy, I want to break some faces.

1st of all, nothing back in 5th grade was really worth remembering, (except for Nintendo 64) and all these people freak out when they hear this song like it reminds them of their wedding day in a cloud palace with Luke Skywalker dj-ing the reception…

 2n of all, the song is about doing meth.  Somehow, nobody seems to remember this part, despite extremely overt and explicit lyrics… (doing crystal meth will lift you up until you break…).  I mean, I love meth as much as the next guy (its like cheap crack) but my addiction didn’t start back in 5th grade…

Therefore: the only reason to ever get excited while listening to this awful song, is to be a meth head who’s playing n64, and then you can freak out as much as you want.  Just make sure you don’t miss Third Eye Blind’s other awesome single about committing suicide!  Gosh those guys sure were great preteen music!
